POSTPONED – Walk With Me Honoring Haruka Weiser

Due to impending bad weather, SafeHorns has regrettably decided to postpone the Walk With Me candlelight walk in honor of Haruka Weiser. Please stay in touch with our social media channels for a rescheduled event. SafeHorns encourages parents and students to attend the VAV (Voices Against Violence) Take Back the Night event which will still be taking place on Wednesday, April 3rd at 6:30 pm at the Tower. Walk With Me

Join SafeHorns in our first annual Walk With Me in memory of Haruka Weiser.

The walk by candlelight will take place on Wednesday April, 3rd at 7pm at the Tower. We will leave the Tower, main mall at 7:15pm.

We will go through campus to West Campus, make a loop at 24th, down San Antonio, back through the artist market, and end at the bridge behind the Alumni Center where we will share in a moment of silence.

Our goal is to honor Haruka’s memory and come together as a community to see some of the areas we are working to improve. We hope that each year our community will see progress in safety measures, take comfort in fellowship with old and new faces, and that we may use the Weiser family message of Bright Faith to give hope and meaning for all who join us on this journey.
